I tend to go with them over Empire pikemen. Sarleon Halberdiers are heavy hitting, albeit squishy infantry. Sarleon: Most of their stuff is pretty middle of the road. Empire Armored Pikemen are okay, but spawn with a terrible Awlpike half the time. Legionaries and Gladiators are good, probably better than the Ravenstern infantry. Kierguards and the Highlanders that upgrade from them are also decent.Įmpire: Armored Crossbowmen pack a punch and are better in melee than Ravenstern Rangers, but do not fire as fast. Radiant Cross Knights (Raven Spear esque) are pretty cool too.Ravenstern: Ravenstern Rangers and Ravenstern Mounted Rangers are excellent archers. I recommend Silvermist Rangers (humans with Noldor-skills in archery), Raven Spear Knights (lances and morningstars) or Ebony Gauntlet Foot Knights (blunt weaponary and Siege Crossbows). Drop your jaw to the floor as your new Order Knights wreak havoc across Pendor and their weekly cost make your economy hit rock bottom. Spend Prestige points (gained through renown) to upgrade Knights to Order Knights.Ħ. That usually requires 25 Honor, 25k denars and a Qualis Gem, as well as you having neutral or positive relations with the Order itself (for example, supporting the Shadow Legion will make the Radiant Cross knights very angry).ĥ. Create an Order Chapter in your town or castle. Train Noble Recruits to appropirate unit type (most Order Knights are upgraded from Pendor Knights, and aquiring Pendor Nobles require you to choose Pendor as your culture)Ĥ.

Recruiting Order Knights really is tough work, you can't simply train 100 Swadia Knights in a few weeks and steamroll the map like in Native.ġ. Aquiring Order Knights is tough work, and simply recruiting them from prisoners would be far too easy.Īlso, lore-wise, and especially considering the Astrea-worshipping Knights of the Dawn, many Order Knights would rather suicide than join an enemy.
